- Central location, convenient for shopping and day-to-day activities: Wal-Mart, movies, dining, the marina and downtown Puerto Vallarta
- It has commanding views of the whole bay.
- All the amenities of a large development
- One of the few developments that offers small apartments

Cons

- Big and impersonal, like living at a hotel
- The Venetian motif (and name) gives the place an ersatz Vegas vibe
