For a low rise development, the units have surprisingly good views of downtown from three sides, as well as the lagoon and an ecological reserve across the street.

Villalta´s units offer high ceilings and huge terraces. The contemporary Mexican-style is comfortable and functional.

Pros

Although no beachfront, Villalta is optimally located near the city with easy access to Cancun's calmer waters on the north end of Isla Cancun. The low level high rises are less intimidating than some of the other giants nearby, fostering a bit more relaxed environment that may be attractive to families and full time residents. Property is completely gated with 24-hour surveillance. Two parking spots per condo.

Cons

Villalta does not wow with it's amenities - two pools and a paddle tennis court are about the extent. Those looking for luxury treatment and activities on site will probably choose to look elsewhere.
