Lahia is located at the south end of Cancún's hotel zone at the start of the Meso-American Reef. The area is calmer than other parts of the hotel zone -- you can actually hear the sound of the waves rolling up on the beach -- but there are few restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Lahia's five interconnected towers are architecturally interesting -- an open space in the center of the towers offers a window-on-the-sea that compliments the wave-like facade.

Cons

-Lahia contains a convenience store, but major shopping, entertainment and dining are all a car or bus ride away.
-Towers lack a community feel - perhaps a necessary sacrifice to achieve privacy and exclusivity in this high density construction.
-Noisy air compressor in the kitchen hallway.
